Writing Annual Reports

Showcase your company’s achievements in writing

It comes back every year: the need to write a crisp, concise annual report that communicates to all stakeholders.

The Writing Annual Reports workshop helps you create that necessary snapshot of your organization.

Who Attends “Writing Annual Reports”?
Some who attend “Writing Annual Reports” have experience working in this format. Others who attend are tackling annual reports for the first time. Why take the class? To learn how others accomplish this task. To expand your range of report-writing techniques. And to discover proven ways of creating world-class annual reports.

You Will Learn To:
> Conceptualize your organization’s annual report in an international context
> Interview for effective quotes and meaningful annual-report content
> Identify and summarize the year’s report-worthy events and trends
> Negotiate the process of working with a broad team
> Create a step-by-step writing and revision plan
> Reach stakeholders with direct, transparent text

What to Expect
We’ll start with the principles of annual reporting and move swiftly to practice. Using a model as your guide, you will rewrite at least one section of your organization’s annual report. Then you will receive expert, interactive feedback on your writing.

The workshop is in English and is taught by a professional with more than twenty years of experience. The training is two full days. You will leave with a list of your strengths as an writer; one complete piece of writing; and a training certificate.
